Scottish v. Spanish Properties: Which Would You Prefer?

There is something incredibly charming about staying in one of the villas in Spain . A family holiday to Spain is somehow incomplete without a stay in a typical Spanish villa set in a beautiful location never too far from the beach! The villas are fully equipped and functional, and companies that arrange a villa rental sometimes can also organise a car rental for you.

Villas come in various sizes from cosy one bedroom to massive five bedrooms villas and many villas have swimming pools. Basically, villas are available in shapes, sizes and budgets to suit you. So whatever your needs, you’re likely to find a villa that suits them. Living in a self catering Spanish villa offers complete flexibility, privacy and luxury while living amidst the scenic locations of Spain.

While we’re talking about scenic locations, Scotland is known to be one of the most beautiful locations in the world! Holiday cottages or villas are available to rent in Scotland, and most cottages have the breathtaking views and are fully self catering.

The ideal times for a Spanish holiday would be May, June and September, unless you’re going to the far south, in which case April and October are perfect too! Scotland offers fine weather from May to September, although July and August tend to be wet. April and May have Scotland’s gorgeous landscapes coming to life as the sun glitters on the lingering snow and wildflowers cover the terrain.

Price wise, you should tend to find that rental rates are relatively similar between the two locations, although Spain will still have the edge if it comes to you looking to buy.
