Outbound Activities ...

Keeping Active in Scotland

If you are a person living in Scotland, you can count yourself lucky as there are a wide range of activities and services on offer. You have all the basics at hand, such as a dentist Glasgow and supermarkets in every major town - but this is to be expected in most towns and even villages today and where Scotland really comes into its own is with its leisure activities.

Scotland is a beautiful place to live and there is so much nature right on your doorstep. You can drive through the countryside or cycle (when it is not too cold) – although it can get quite hilly at times. It is also a great place for walks and hikes, though these should be planned carefully in case the weather turns.

My favourite is right in the North around Inverness. You have the beautiful Firth of Cromarty and some stunning coastline. Drive just a little further south and you find yourself in the wild area of Loch Ness.

Drive the whole way around and you will be treated to a whole range of scenery from small towns and tourist attractions to wild countryside overlooking the lake – perfect for walks.

As with most countries of the world, people who live there never really realise how lucky they are and they do not notice things of beauty that are right on their doorstep.
